Rick Owens was born on November 18th, 1962 in Porterville, California. Upon graduating high school, Owens relocated to Los Angeles to enroll at the Otis College of Art and Design for two years before transferring to Los Angeles Trade-Technical College where he would learn pattern-making and draping.
