После возвращения в Россию Печурский зацепил Кубок Гагарина с «Металлургом», отыграл три сезона в «Амуре», вытащил в плей-офф «Ценг Тоу», не справился с этой задачей в усть-каменогорском «Торпедо», а сейчас, как выразился сам вратарь, отвратительно начал чемпионат в Новокузнецке. Tippett is making his way in the AHL, and looks like he still certainly has a positive and productive future in the NHL. Original Pick: Shane Bowers In his rookie professional slate with the Colorado Eagles, Shane Bowers is off to a modestly productive pace, although the Avs would likely be a tad happier to have another NHL calibre defenseman in their arsenal.
Original Pick: Henri Jokiharju The Blackhawks have begun to restock their forward depth since the 2017 Entry draft, however, if they had been unable to select Jokiharju at 29, they may have started a little earlier. His value peaked the following year, and has since stumbled. On the other hand, Lucas Elvenes has quietly been climbing to the point where he currently leads AHL rookies in scoring. Original Pick: Klim Kostin It was a painful wait to 31 for Kostin, who was ranked as high as the top-15 in mock drafts. Well, there you have it.

With several blueliners projected to go in the second half of the first round, Al Murray opted for Foote. The Kelowna Rockets product tallied three more points than Henri Jokiharju in his draft year, but the latter has begun his professional career on a more intriguing note. Original Pick: Erik Brannstrom After losing draft stock in the weeks leading up to the draft, Nolan Patrick maintained his draft value and was selected by the Flyers in the two-hole. Nonetheless, he is currently forecasting as a satisfactory middle-six center, value worthy of a 15th overall pick. Original Pick: Juuso Valimaki Few players recognition has grown as much over the previous twelve months than the Blue Jackets forward Bemstrom. That being said, what fun would it be if we only had one player jump 100-spots in our re-draft. Batherson was worthy of a first-round draft-pick, and Boston would be as good a team as any to make the pick. Original Pick: Robert Thomas With Thomas being selected 13 picks earlier in our re-draft, the Blues find themselves in a difficult spot in attempting to find any kind of an equivalent. Their closest target might have been the Finnish forward from the Swift Current Broncos in Heponiemi. At the time, however, the team was in the market for improving their team from the back, out. Like some others, Fleury could climb this list even more, but to be safe, 21 is a good spot.

Here is the full order for the first 15 picks of the 2017 NHL Draft. But the Devils had the greatest odds of winning the top pick out of the three teams that jumped into the top three. The Draft will mark the first time the Devils make the first overall pick in franchise history. The Draft will mark the second time the Flyers make the second overall selection.
The power forward prospect also has a very good wrist shot. With Windsor hosting the 2017 Memorial Cup , there will be plenty of opportunities to show off his skills to the scouts.
He put up 17 goals and 38 points in 62 games last year. He has an excellent array of shots, with good power and accuracy on his wrist shot, snap shot and slap shot. A sniper, Comtois has a very quick release that can handcuff opposing goaltenders. He also has excellent vision and passing skills. Comtois can extend plays by using his stick handling and puck protection to control the play along the boards.
Once teammates get open he can make a pass through the tightest of openings. Comtois has good size and is not afraid to work along the boards or in front of the net. Comtois is also a very good skater, with great first step quickness and excellent acceleration. As a 16-year-old rookie, he took on heavy responsibility, playing in all situations. He also scored 60 points in 62 games this past season.
Tippett is extremely dangerous off the rush. He has excellent speed and acceleration. His ability to change speeds allows him to take defenders wide and drive to the front of the net, where he has the soft hands to finish in tight. If defenders back off to respect his speed, he can use his excellent wrist shot or snap shot and beat goalies with a quick release. Tippett could stand to work on his play making skills.
He can stand to slow things down and hold on to the puck just a little longer before rushing a play. Tippett had 15 goals and 20 points for Mississauga last season. A strong performance, seven points in four games, would lead to him being invited to join the US NTDP late in the season. He scored a point per game. He had another impressive tournament, with nine points in seven games.
He is committed to the University of Minnesota in 2017. Mittelstadt has excellent puck handling ability. He can beat defencemen one-on-one with a number of moves, and has the soft hands to stick handle in a phone both. He combines this with excellent speed, and the ability to make cuts on a dime. Mittlestadt is an excellent play maker who creates passing lanes with his quick puck movement.
He also has a good shot. He put up nine goals and 10 points in just five games for Finland.
The left-shot winger is reasonably fast, with 90 acceleration and 89 speed, and has good offensive awareness with a rating of 90.
However, the point of playing Pavelski is to spot him open, pass him the puck, and then let his 95 slap shot accuracy, 94 slap shot power, 95 wrist shot accuracy, and 94 wrist shot power do the rest. Still, taking Spencer Downie in the second round of this simulation was a wise move, with him rapidly developing into a netminder capable of contending in the NHL. Even at 22-years-old, Downie reaches an 81 overall rating, with his only lacking attribute that matters being his 67 poise — which will develop with more experience.
Still, the left-glove goalie also has some incredibly high ratings, including his 92 breakaway, 90 glove high, 91 glove low, 91 five hole, and 90 durability.

He is incredibly efficient at stunting offense with his body and stick. The Stars will be content having picked Heiskanen third. He is a terrific playmaker — he ranked 10th in assists-per-60 last season — and his tireless work ethic makes him difficult to play against. He never stops competing, winning pucks and generating chances for his teammates. He has shown some flair this season, too. Passing by Robert Thomas has been so nice this season pic. He has an elusive release and picks corners with ease. He should feast on weak matchups as a second-line center this year. In his final year of junior, he carried the Guelph Storm to the Memorial Cup with 42 points in 24 playoff games. In the NHL, he has continued to produce at an impressive rate and has shown he can run a powerplay.
Some have given up on him, but if he remains healthy he can still reach his potential. His frame means he can win pick battles and maintain possession, and his quick hands and creativity mean he can create chances. He is just as good as a setup man or a finisher. If he can round out his game and start to make the simple plays more consistently, he may end up higher on this list. However, the players above him have been more effective thus far. Standing at six-foot-three, 200 pounds, he is most effective below the hash marks where he can dictate play with his size, shot and vision. He also possesses a powerful release, making him a well-rounded threat. This season we will see whether or not Vilardi can fully recover from the injuries that have plagued his career thus far. He plays a simple but highly effective game, using his slick hands to carry the puck into vantage points where he can beat the goalie himself with or find a teammate with ease.
