Владимиру действительно лучше подождать еще один год, закрепиться в сборной и подучить английский, чем вот так, немного опрометчиво, бросать родную команду. Почему бы не взять пример с Малкина, который отправился в «Питтсбург» не просто талантливым мальчишкой, а в ранге лучшего игрока Европы? Возможно, «блюзмены» прошли бы мимо рискованного варианта с Тарасенко, если бы не аховая ситуация с крайними нападающими. Хоккейный талант Костина сомнений не вызывает и еще прошлой осенью ему прочили гораздо более высокий номер на драфте, чем получилось в итоге.
Причина проста — в декабре 2016-го нападающий получил травму плеча и пропустил из-за этого полгода. В сложившихся обстоятельствах становится очевидным: выбирая Костина «Сент-Луис» достаточно серьезно рискнул, но есть основания полагать, что этот риск все-таки окажется оправданным. Костина хвалят за серьезное отношение к делу и даже длительный простой не должен помешать ему вернуть прежние кондиции. Если это случится, а «Блюзмены» предоставят ему реальный шанс заиграть в НХЛ, Клим вполне способен зацепиться за него.
Борьбу за Кубок Стэнли поведут 24 команды. Для «Нью-Джерси» сезон уже завершен. Новый чемпионат НХЛ стартует в декабре-январе.
