А вот Ovule совсем иная. Сама же певица и рассказала теперь о ней: "Это медитация о нас, любовниках, гуляющих по этому миру, и я представляю, как за нами следуют две сферы или спутник. Одна над нами, и она представляет идеальную любовь, другая под нами, представляющая тени любви, и мы сами ходим в третьей сфере настоящей любви, где живет повседневная жизнь - встречи на кухне, которые воспринимаются нами как любовь - такие вот утра понедельника…" Так что от мистики, очарования и жизни в мире иных аллюзий и идеалов до повседневной рутины получается всего один шаг. Может, этот диск был для Бьорк в чем-то и спасением - певица не просто переживала годы пандемии, несколько раз переносила из-за нее свой европейский тур с симфоническим оркестром. И вот теперь, похоже, нашла для себя новый спасительный образ - поющей лесной феи, слившейся с природой и не особенно реагирующей на катаклизмы, беды и раздражения, приходящие из больших городов. Вот и на обложке альбома, созданной дизайнером, художником и клипмейкером Видаром Логи, певица изображена в образе лесной феи, сливающейся с дикой, но прекрасной природой. Fossora - удивительный альбом и тем, каких музыкантов на этот раз выбрала себе в компанию Бьорк. Кажется, только она так затейливо и убедительно умеет выбирать себе для студии новых друзей. На этоn раз помимо Бьорк и ее сына Синдри Элдона, тоже спевшего и занявшегося аранжировками так, что уже трудно решить, кто из них более неформатный, атональный, наворочен в саунд-продюсировании и увлечен электронной этникой и играми с подсознанием, гостей оказалось много. Даже странно, как они ужились на Fossora: приглашенный неизвестный диджей, американская экспериментальная группа Serpentwithfeet, индонезийский дуэт танцевальной ориентальной музыки Gabber Modus Operandi, да еще и дочь певицы Исадора Бьяркардоттир Барни, плюс шесть бас-кларнетистов.
