A Stranger in Strasbourg
Language English Plot[ edit ] Three women in Toronto confront emotional crises regarding the men in their lives. Olivia looks after her husband John, a wheelchair user. Olivia has aspired to a career as an artist, but John believes she is wasting her time.
Having shot dead her husband, Madeleine implores her lover to run away. During his flight, Jean-Paul gives a lift to a vagrant, who turns against him, knocking him unconscious before crashing his car. Believing Jean-Paul to have been killed in a car accident, Madeleine allows police inspector Audiard to draw the obvious conclusion that it was he who killed her husband. The case is closed and Audiard, a novelist in his spare time, is pleased to have found a plot for his next novel. When he regains consciousness, Jean-Paul has lost his memory.

Both Valjean and Cosette finally make it to Paris where they start a new life together as father and daughter, cloistered within a religious convent. Ten years later, they leave the convent, and Cosette, now nineteen years old, falls deeply in love with a revolutionist, Marius. Если вы еще не смотрели этот фильм, то советую. Фильм был снят по реальной истории, описанной в книге Страсбургский суд изд-во VSD, 2013.
В ходе процесса над 11 мужчинами, обвиняемыми в соучастии в поджоге Рейхстага, в зал заседаний были допущены журналисты, которые получили возможность близко наблюдать за поведением обвиняемых. Во время просмотра фильма, зрители испытывали очень сильные эмоции и переживания. Все, как вы понимаете, пошло не так. Если в прошлый раз я был доволен просмотром, то с этим фильмом мне явно не повезло. В целом, фильм достаточно интересен, но у нас в стране, а именно в России, он не прижился. Видимо, мы не такие фанаты такого жанра, какие режиссеры картины. Вот только фильм не о маньяках и не об серийных убийцах, как многие могли подумать.

Both Valjean and Cosette finally make it to Paris where they start a new life together as father and daughter, cloistered within a religious convent. Ten years later, they leave the convent, and Cosette, now nineteen years old, falls deeply in love with a revolutionist, Marius. Meanwhile, Javert is now undercover as an insurrectionist, trying to undermine the organization to which Marius belongs. During an attempt to finally arrest Valjean, Javert is captured by Marius and is brought to the barricades as a prisoner to be executed. Valjean journeys to the barricades himself when he learns how much Cosette and Marius love each other, intending to persuade Marius to return to Cosette. When the soldiers shoot and kill Gavroche , a young boy allied with the revolutionists, Valjean uses his influence with Marius to have Javert turned over to him, so that he himself can execute him. Valjean takes Javert to a back alley, but instead of killing him, sets him free. Marius gets shot and Valjean takes him down a sewer to bring him to safety.
