Конечно же ртом... Все помнят виски со льдом, виски с колой, виски с содовой. Но раз напиток душевный как заявлено и стоит не так дешево, то лучше его пить чистяком. Далее конечно можно выпендриваться, ведь виски пьют из роксов, увесистых прямых бокалов с толстым дном олд-фэшн, тумблер, драм. Также бурбон это напиток не клубный, он любит дом и небольшую компанию в идеале одного собеседника.
Зачем мне эти знания я без понятия т. В итоге на дно стакана лёд и вперед. Закусить можно как дамочка в шляпе- клубникой. Но лучше брутально затянуться сигарой.
Я по идее не курю, но вискарёк периодически могу перекурить. Конечно было бы глупо оценивать вкус после того как положил в напиток лёд. В чистом же виде, есть привкус сухофрукта, небольшая солоноватость с легким оттенком сладости. Есть ягодные нотки, но я бы их отнес к черносливу.

И вот получилось. Цена всё же у Singleton of Dufftown 12 years весьма немаленькая, поэтому как-то не хотелось его себе за свои деньги позволять. А тут так удачно всё сложилось с фестивалем этим крепко-алкогольным.
Ну что можно сказать? Богатейшая ароматика, очень слоистый и интересный вкус. Чувствуется великолепный класс и высочайший уровень напитка.
Это не какой-нибудь 3-летний попсовый купаж, к которому так привыкли у нас в России. Если по-настоящему любите и цените whiskey, обязательно возьмите Синглтон Вискокурня Даффтаун 12 попробовать. Конечно, найдутся и интереснее образцы.

Нос Nestville Single Malt Ровный, сладкий с нотками ванили, фруктов, печёных яблок, пряных специй, дуба, леденцов и нот картона. Держится хорошо, без особого развития, и не сильно упрощается. Deanston Virgin Oak Ровный с нотками трав, фруктов, ванили, пряных специй, дуба, а также покрытых воском яблок с маслянистым характером. Ароматика можно сказать паритет. Здесь нет отрицательных нот.
Всё просто, ровно и понятно. Вкус Nestville Single Malt Ровный с нотками фруктов, ванили, дуба, пряных специй и трав. Пьётся очень легко, бутылка может уйти на раз. Deanston Virgin Oak Ровный с нотками фруктов, ванили, дуба, красных яблок покрытых воском и пряных специй. Здесь тоже паритет.

Что касается недавно упомянутого Glen Eagles - не пил, но осуждаю. Мне всегда жалко денег на алкоголь, поэтому пью в основном NAS релизы, перепробовал уже много за 5 лет и пару блендед молтов в придачу и вот ни один из них не был спиртуозным. Откуда же спиртуозность в блендед молте Glen Eagles "на шотландских спиртах"?
Несмотря на маленькую выдержку 6 лет этот виски несомненно относится к премиум-классу, и я бы расположил его немного выше чем Лафройг 10. Ну собственно он немного дороже и стоит. Дело в том, что последние 7-8 месяцев выдержки в маленьких бочках действительно радикально улучшают его вкус, делают его более нежным и бархатистым. Фенольность по-прежнему присутствует, она никуда не делась. Если вы выпьете этот виски вечером, то утром дымно-торфяной привкус ещё будет во рту, хотя наверное не так сильно как после такого же количества Лафройг 10. Также улучшению вкуса способствует отсутствие холодной фильтрации и крепость, приближенная к бочковой. Отрицательные же отзывы происходят оттого, что изначально к этому виски предъявлялись неверные требования или имелись о нём ложные представления.
