Её работы с одной стороны деликатные, а с другой — достаточно радикальные. Кого из интересных персон вы встретили на ярмарке? Общение на русском было такое интенсивное, что сложилось впечатление, что мы в Петербурге или Москве! Были рады увидеться с Олесей Туркиной, куратором из Русского музея, встретили Стивена Сакса, основателя нью-йоркской bitforms gallery. Что касается ОАЭ, то они двигаются в верном направлении: инвестируют в качественные события и проекты. Мне кажется, у Эмиратов есть все шансы в будущем стать заметной точкой на карте арт-мира. Я во второй раз на Art Dubai. Кажется, что в прошлом году очень ярко прозвучала секция Digital, были действительно достойные работы, много открытий. В этом году все было не так ярко.

Art Dubai Since its inception in 2007, Art Dubai has distinguished itself as the pre-eminent platform for art from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia, evolving into a pivotal event on the international arts calendar. It includes commissioned projects, residencies, and educational initiatives, alongside the much-anticipated Global Art Forum. The forum stands as the largest annual arts conference in the Middle East and Asia, offering a platform for thought-provoking discussions, performances, and live talks by regional and international artists, curators, and writers. In 2019, Art Dubai attracted over 30,000 visitors, including a significant number of UAE-based, regional, and international collectors, curators, and nearly 100 visiting museums and institutions.
Continuing their investigation of new tendencies in digital arts, AI, AR and VR, they will present Art Dubai Digital through the lens of advanced technologies and offer possible approaches for the future of art and its perception. The House took the opportunity to also reintroduce a limited edition of the Piaget Polo 79 model, a truly iconic timepiece, fully sculpted from the most precious of metals to form a rare piece of artistry, both a fine bracelet and a watch: the Piaget Polo 79. The Maison partners with artists who align with that same sense of relationship with the natural world to help to relay this discourse. At the other end of the Lounge, numerous posters by British artist Marcus Coates presented one month of the nature calendar he created for Ruinart.
The artist was enlisted to create a piece that speaks to the ethos of Clinique La Prairie. With a keen eye for architecture, Belhamar has meticulously captured Dubai—the desert that has blossomed into a metropolis—in experimental prints, videos, and three-dimensional models and installations. The artist created an experiential installation — with the BMW i7 at its center — using motion-driven projections to juxtapose the urban streetscape with the serene, monumental presence of nature. The projections conveyed navigating the fast-changing city, while at the same time symbolized art as a means to pause and scrutinize time in motion.
