Интересных, достойных наборов выходит великое множество в год, но стоят они порой просто невероятных денег. Чтобы покупать Лего за полную цену, надо быть миллиардером. Или сидеть круглые сутки на Авито, как я раньше.
Иногда бывает, что кто-то находит в шифоньере старый набор в отличном состоянии и выкладывает его задешево, не зная цен. Но это редкость, да и покупают такие наборы почти моментально. Поэтому я стараюсь брать наборы по акциям и жду ежегодных распродаж в «черную пятницу» и под Новый год.
Могу полгода ничего не покупать, а потом приобрести детали и наборы раз шесть за месяц, потому что появились выгодные предложения. Так долго ждать — это боль, но ничего не поделаешь. Раритетные наборы я уже специально не ищу, потому что слишком многие мне хотелось бы иметь в коллекции, слишком дорого они стоят и слишком быстро разлетаются после поступления в продажу.
Дороговизна — наверное, главная причина, по которой коллекционирование Лего в России слабо развито. Не то чтобы коллекционеров совсем нет: например, недавно проходил фестиваль Лего в Таганроге, на котором был и я. Но на западе проводят в разы больше мероприятий, и их уровень гораздо выше.
Там целая индустрия: участники иногда по несколько лет собирают огромные самоделки из 400 тысяч деталей! На Реддите фото своих работ выкладывают буквально сотни тысяч фанатов. Видимо, это потому, что Лего для них доступнее, чем для россиян.
Плюс Лего в том, что наборы, как правило, не теряют в цене со временем. По моим наблюдениям, дешевеют только наборы из детских серий вроде «Ниндзяго»: их регулярно перевыпускают. А вот другие только дорожают.
В основном рост стоимости незначителен и компенсируется инфляцией, но все же наборы не обесцениваются. Хорошо прибавляют в цене большие наборы, которые мало кто мог себе позволить, и культовые серии — те же «Гарри Поттер», «Властелин Колец», «Хоббит». То же относится к наборам из серий, которые закрылись, — некоторые из них с годами колоссально выросли в цене.

Единственный недостаток конструктора — достаточно высокий уровень сложности. Набор предназначен для детей от 12 лет и старше. В остальном, это отличный конструктор, который подарит десятки часов, наполненных положительными эмоциями!
