Довольно компактный зал превращён во дворик: козырьки крыш, разномастные стены, где-то оклеенные обоями, где-то окрашенные, а в одном из углов — покрытые стильным геометрическим узором, ведущая на антресоли винтовая лестница. Посуда выдержана в стиле и цветовой гамме заведения, где специально отбитые края глиняных тарелок смотрятся также изысканно, как и кофейные блюдца, будто присыпанные пеплом от сигары. Мой выбор пал на касуэлу с морепродуктами: на большой глиняной сковороде, затянутой свежайшей тонкой лепешкой подают морских гадов, креветки и вонголе в сочном бульоне — отрываешь кусок лепешки, макаешь в горячее сочиво и быстро заправляешь в рот, наслаждаясь вкусом. Омываешь руки в лимонной воде — и за новой порцией. Попробуйте традиционный суп из бычьих хвостов или la caldosa: густой суп-рагу со свининой, юккой, бататом и тыквой. Из закусок предпочтения отдала тако с филе копченой утки и тапасам на хрустящем багете с томатами и песто. Аромат кубинского кофе сравним, по наслаждению, разве что с запахом океана — по ним я испытываю настоящую ностальгию. Чашечка кубинского эспрессо — как глоток океанского бриза — ощущение свежести остается на весь день.
И очень рекомендую тончайшие фруктовые чипсы — прозрачные кружки ананасов, грейпа и груши. А для домашнего чаепития захватите с собой парочку десертов: традиционный кубинский флан или шоколадный кокос. Удовольствие ведь хочется продлить…. Простите, увлеклась… Но, если вы еще дочитываете мои яркие послевкусия обеда, а не помчались после второго абзаца, глотая слюнки и пустив нос по ветру, искать место, где причалил корабль под название Aruba, то вот сдаю пароли и явки еще одного полюбившегося курортного места: метро «Таганская», ул.
