Не очень понятно, как она сумела адаптироваться к миру и вообще стать важной шишкой, но к концу третьего сезона мультсериала она таки ею стала, перессорив кучу народа в школе [1] и заставив всех себя бояться. Однако её продолжала глодать жажда власти над Эквестрией, и она решилась на воровство — проникла в Кристальную империю, выкрала корону принцессы Твайлайт Спаркл и смоталась назад. Тогда песня группы Rainbooms смела сирен, восстановила порядок в школе и принесла Сансет новую славу — теперь доброго и готового прийти каждому на помощь человека.

At first, the projection was a beautiful and powerful pony, but the projection soon rot into a dark, wrathful pony who sought only to control others. Seemingly snapping out of a trance of sorts, even Sunset was mortified by what she saw in herself, but grew ever curious. She eventually snapped and decided to take matters in her own hooves.
