За проектирование и поставку оборудования и материалов отвечала японская инжиниринговая компания Toyo Engineering Corporation. На заводе должно быть установлено более 1100 единиц оборудования, произведенного в Японии, Корее, Китае и России. Планируемые к выпуску на ИЗП марки полиэтилена используются в машиностроении, медицине, тяжелой и легкой промышленности, в том числе для производства трубопроводов, конструктивных деталей, различных видов пленки, специализированных медицинских изделий. Управляющий директор компании «Имплемента» Дмитрий Акишин отмечает, что перенос запуска завода на несколько месяцев или даже на год кардинально не повлияет на проект. Он также отмечает, что ИНК запланировала запуск на 2024 г. Эксперт предполагает, что основная часть оборудования, скорее всего, уже поставлена на площадку. Управляющий директор рейтинговой службы НРА Сергей Гришунин добавляет, что в случае необходимости ИНК могла найти альтернативных поставщиков еще в 2022 г. По его словам, задержка запуска производства полимеров не принесет ИНК значительных финансовых потерь из-за того, что компания может реализовывать добываемое сырье на российском рынке.
