Schedule Revision Clouds Revision clouds can now be scheduled. This includes the ability to schedule related information such as the sheet or view name that the cloud is placed on. Figure 13. Open Sheet Directly from View If a view is placed on a sheet, that sheet can now be opened quickly via right-clicking within the view and selecting Open Sheet as shown here. Figure 14.
Right-click in a view to open the sheet it is placed on quickly. Place Multiple Views and Schedules Multiple selected views and schedules can be dragged from the Project Browser onto a sheet. These are spaced out sufficiently so they do not overlap, but they likely require manual adjustment once placed. It is also possible to drag views from one sheet to another within the Project Browser as shown in Figure 16, in which case the views are positioned in the same location. Figure 15. Family parameters are unchanged from previous behavior. Architectural The architectural discipline has several new features and will make a lot of architects and designers happy. Here is an example of a much needed enhancement to the Bind Revit Link Revit Idea that would maintain phases — most do not realize that all phase settings are lost when you bind a Revit link until they need to do it! Textures View Style Revit has a new view style called Textures. I was in the beta user group for this one. It is a cross between shaded and realistic. It shows the appearance asset texture but without global lighting, so the materials are a consistent color on all surfaces and at all angles. It is possible to have ambient and sun shadows on in this mode as shown in the examples below.

Sun settings on ribbon When running a solar study, the sun settings are now presented on the ribbon as shown below. Clicking the sun setting button opens the traditional sun settings dialog with the same settings. Another enhancement includes the ability to select much shorter time increment options. Figure 22.

It allows you to decide if you want to see the contours on the subdivision or not. In Revit 2024: Building pads are gone. Instead, Autodesk recommends using the Massing tool to create void geometry. These tools are more complex and potentially more confusing than building pads, but they allow you to create more complex shapes. In this example, we create a void shape for a parking driveway. You could also use the model in-place tool, but uh... Overall, this is probably for the best... In Revit 2024: Each toposolid type can have different kinds of topography contours.
In the type properties of a toposolid, you need to click on Contour Display. You can decide to have a toposolid type with lots of contours. However, the contours are not visible when editing the points. And maybe you want a water toposolid without any contours. In this example, the toposolid is cut to accommodate the foundation wall and footing. The volume of the toposolid accurately reflects the substraction of the these elements. This can be use to create curbs. You cannot use this tool on subdivisions, or on very complex shapes. If someone from Autodesk is reading: please fix this!
It would be great to place the slab edges on sub-division. Meanwhile, you can use the railings tool to create curbs. Since toposolids are similar to floors, you can switch the composition entirely and have lakes, concrete pads, and other site components while keeping the original topography points.

However, with the release of Revit 2024, a new feature called Toposolids, which harnesses all the capabilities of a system family, has been introduced. Toposolids can now have layers with thickness and materials similar to other system families. Currently, voids can be used to cut out sections of Toposolids. However, a more efficient tool is expected to be developed to handle cuts in Toposolids. Families can now be hosted on Toposolids, including floor-based families and railings, which can be helpful in various projects. Our team is eagerly waiting for this feature to be fully developed. By holding down the CTRL key, choose the necessary views, including model views, schedules, legends, and drafting views, then drag them onto a sheet. Alternatively, utilize the Add Views to Sheet tool in the View ribbon tab, select multiple views, click OK, and promptly place them on the sheet. While not headline-worthy, this feature is a time-saving convenience, sparing users from the tedious task of dragging and dropping views onto sheets individually.

Очень полезно — давно нужно было сделать не думаю что было сложно реализовать 3. Массив То же очень полезное изменение в поведении массива, теперь при создании массива можно указать и 1 элемент и 0 элементов. Массив при этом не ломается и не выдаёт ошибок, лишние элементы просто скрываются. В проектах не самая нужная вещь, а вот при создании семейств избавляет от некоторых костылей. Массив с несколькими элементами Массив с 0 элементов 4. Как говориться Мелочь, а приятно. Будут более аккуратные чертежи особенно узлов с меньшими затратами времени 5. Окно свойств Типоразмера В окне свойств типоразмера добавили кнопку сортировки параметров По умолчанию — По алфавиту, и теперь это окно запоминает ширину столбцов при закрытие окна раньше сбрасывалось. Даже не знаю, вроде полезно, но совсем мелочь. Размышлял над этой тёмной темой и почему о ней говорят как о большом улучшении, на мой взгляд она может быть удобна когда в темноте работаешь, чтоб глаза не уставали.
Я так не работаю уже давно, только при хорошем освещении.

It has a livesync plugin to connect with Revit 2024 so that designers can see their projects rendered on the fly. In this article, we will highlight 9 exciting features. I tested the redesigned user interface, site tools, visual styles, analytical views, and linked models from previous versions in a 2024 project. A single template file for all the disciplines. The new sample model, Snowdon Towers, is a mixed-use development that includes residential, commercial and retail space. The model is highly detailed and demonstrates best practices for modeling, documentation, and collaboration. It includes seven linked models, phasing and design options , and a detailed site model created with the enhanced tools from this release. Dark mode applies to all primary UI elements, such as ribbons, palettes, dialogs, and main menus. The canvas viewport background will also be automatically set to a dark or light color based on your UI selection. But not really, because the dark theme does not cover the secondary menus yet.
Hopefully this will be fixed in one of the next hotfixes for this release. I find that the new icons and the dark mode make the interface a lot clearer and easier to use. The TopoSolid tool allows you to create site elements that have depth and thickness, unlike the TopoSurface tool, which only created flat surfaces.
