The journalist has been charged under Sections 420 cheating , 467 forgery , 468 forgery for purpose of cheating and 471 using forged document of the Indian Penal Code along with Sections 10 and 13 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.
