При этом, на данном конкурсе серебро не значит второе место, как и золото - первое. Награда выдаётся за достижение определённого количества балов после нескольких этапов дегустации.

Допивать не стал, оставил на компрессы и переключился на Crabbies Yardhead, который совсем не из кукурузы, но бурбонные нотки там есть за счёт выдержки пару лет в бурбонной бочке. В итоге на дно стакана лёд и вперед. Закусить можно как дамочка в шляпе- клубникой. Но лучше брутально затянуться сигарой. Я по идее не курю, но вискарёк периодически могу перекурить. Конечно было бы глупо оценивать вкус после того как положил в напиток лёд. В чистом же виде, есть привкус сухофрукта, небольшая солоноватость с легким оттенком сладости. Есть ягодные нотки, но я бы их отнес к черносливу. Даже есть нотки торфа, но это скорей всего такой вкус от бочек и слияния древесины и спирта. В итоге напиток потребовал компанию, да и столько гадости одному не выпить. Если внушаться тем, что напиток благородный и если он не нравится, то ничего в нем не понимаешь, то да- я не знаток. Но возможно дело в другом! И по мне лучше выпить более"честный" коньяк, чем заморский самогон. Любителя этот напиток без сомнения найдет, да и всегда его можно использовать в коктейле если вдруг застоится бутылка.

Купил на волне вернувшегося интереса к Джеку, т.к. до этого необычно удивил White Rabbit Saloon и неприятно разочаровал Gentleman Jack. И серебряная ачивка нам говорит, что виски не выдающийся, но в целом норм. Пожалуй единственное, что в Акентошане не как у остальных в Шотландии, это тройная перегонка, которая больше характерна Ирландским дистиллятам. Что касается выдержки, то это бочки из под бурбона и хереса. Но как мне кажется, хереса там совсем чуть-чуть, его совершенно не ощущается в запахе и он едва-едва проявляется сладостью во вкусе. Познакомился я с этим виски совершенно случайно - после долгой прогулки в не самую комфортную погоду заскочил в первый попавшийся бар хлопнуть что-то согревающее, выбора в меню практически не было и я решил что вот он момент попробовать что-то новое. И это был чрезвычайно удачный выбор, так как Акентошен идеально подходит на роль виски, который можно "хлопнуть" без эстетского смакования. Теперь о самом напитке: Аромат: Лёгкий цитрусовый аромат с нотами ванили и кислинкой зеленого яблочка.

Во вкусе опять же чернослив и фрукты, даже как будто орехи. А в послевкусии тоненькие шоколадно-кофейные и ореховые нотки проявились. Просто до невероятности приятно все эти нюансы улавливать. Мой отзыв на виски Singleton Синглтон 12 лет и его цену По итогу этой моей дегустации я в восторге оказался.
Давненько искал момента попробовать этот односолодовый вариант. И вот получилось. Цена всё же у Singleton of Dufftown 12 years весьма немаленькая, поэтому как-то не хотелось его себе за свои деньги позволять.
А тут так удачно всё сложилось с фестивалем этим крепко-алкогольным. Ну что можно сказать?

WinchesterD 3 месяца назад Интересно конечно посмотреть, но для меня лучшим выбором будет белорусский виски. Всё равно после третьей рюмки уже запивать приходится, а потому толку нету. Лучше с Колой мешать, самое то.
