У сценаристки чуждое мне видение мира, но играть в ее работу очень любопытно как раз потому, что у текста есть сильный отпечаток личности, своя идея и любопытные методы достижения цели. Главная героиня — жесткая леди-босс, удерживающая свою власть без лишних сантиментов. Но оказавшись на ярмарке, она вдруг переносится в странный замкнутый мир, где всесильный Таролог терзает ее загадками, ставит в непредсказуемые и опасные жизненные ситуации и заставляет зарабатывать искупление. А что, если Селена не ощущает себя виноватой? Почему люди в городишке умирают от болезни?
Что за картины рисует странный художник, которого она не помнит? Чем болен белокурый юноша из особняка и — главное — как ей сбежать отсюда? Первые серий пять я играла просто потому, что не понимала вообще ничего из того, что происходит, и мне было интересно, имеет ли происходящее хоть какой-то смысл помимо увлеченности картами таро. А дальше автор сделала вещь, которую любят отмачивать в серьезных отоме, — за счет погружения в нарратив в нарративе заставить сомневаться, настолько ли тебе наплевать на героев, как пытается себя убедить Селена? Вскоре оказывается, что нет, тебе становится не все равно. И это прекрасная работа, в которой мистика действительно работает как мистика, то есть непознанное, загадочное, непонятное, будоражащее, тревожное. Берт — это просто срыв башни! Создавать многоуровневую систему виртуальных миров для тренировки искупления из-за такой чепухи? Это изящно и психологически сильно, здесь сюжет учитывает геймплей, я впечатлена. Еще интересно, что происходит рост персонажа, что для историй с мобилы почти немыслимо. Скажем, Таролог заставляет Селену встретиться с живым кошмаром, мужчиной, который разбил ей сердце. Но в отличие от плохих набросков, которых хватает в других историях КР, здесь слабость жесткой Селены перед человеком из прошлого показана ее поведением, репликами, и игрок вполне может эту неприятную слабость ощутить. Это сделано довольно красиво.
Конечно, совсем без кринжа не обходится, но в целом история отличная.

Я фанат Кадзу и его улыбки, но все герои написаны славно — и ищущий мести ронин, и суровый глава синоби.

За это время я расписала главную героиню, что произойдёт в первом сезоне, во втором сезоне, в третьем, чем история закончится, самые критические моменты, любовные интересы. А кто-то из авторов приходит к руководителю со своей готовой историей. И дальше руководитель решает, стоит ли пускать её в разработку. В «Клубе Романтики» новелла выходит не целиком, а частями, которые потом дополняют с обновлениями.
Правильно понимаю, что к моменту выхода первой главы новелла уже на самом деле вся готова? Хотя мы, авторы, примерно знаем, что произойдёт. Допустим, у меня есть дизайн-документ по «Теодоре», он занимает 15 страниц. Там внутри характеристика героини, описание сезонов.
Этот документ служит опорой. Дальше мы пишем главы, но пишем их к обновлениям. Но ты упоминала, что концовка изначально известна. Да, я знаю концовку, точнее, варианты концовок.
Их, конечно, всегда несколько, иначе зачем нам эта вся интерактивность. Ключевые события, которые должны произойти, я не на месте выдумываю. Но я не из тех авторов, кто до мелочи всё планирует. Просто знаю примерно, что где должно быть.
Для опоры у меня есть знание, чем закончится история и сезон. Иначе правда можно запутаться. Я ведь ещё большой фанат чеховских ружей, которые должны выстрелить в нужный момент. Мне и как читателю очень нравится, когда что-то, закинутое в начале истории, в конце обретает смысл.
Получается, что в отличие от обычного писателя, который пишет линейное произведение, автор интерактивной новеллы должен придумать не только основной сюжет, но и всевозможные ответвления в зависимости от решений игрока. Не путаются в голове все варианты? Поэтому нам надо следить за распределением очков, которые зарабатывает игрок и которые влияют на сюжет. Всё надо считать и прописывать.
В итоге ты вроде как пишешь одну историю, а получается 38 вариантов одной и той же истории. Это своеобразный челендж. Но мне он нравится. Может ли так получиться, что какие-то моменты новеллы изменят по желаниям фанатов?
У нас есть пространство, чтобы что-то поменять. Но это опять же зависит от автора. Финалу первого сезона моей «Теодоры» обрадовались не все читатели. Конечно, я могу решить отойти от своего изначального замысла, но могу и не захотеть.
Здесь нужно сохранять баланс. Нам очень важны ожидания аудитории. Поэтому мы стараемся искать золотую середину. И всё же, если ты что-то придумала и понимаешь, что это важно для твоей истории и твоего главного героя, стоит это сделать.
