Consisting of 4,049 pieces and standing at 52 cm tall, the LEGO Hulkbuster is impressive in size, and boasts and incredible amount of detail. The red and gold set depicts the MK44 — the 44th version of the Iron Man suit and features posable arms, a light brick on the chest, two light bricks on the hands.
This versatile and feature-packed playset takes kids into the famous room where Iron Man stores his high-tech suit gear. As well as the classic MK3, MK25 and MK85 Iron Man suits there is a workshop area with tools where kids can carry out repairs and a platform where the billionaire Super Hero can change into his chosen armor.

The back of the torso perfectly captures the layer connection plates we see in the movie as Tony suits up for the first time, with more subtle rivets at the neckline. Pepper Potts has seen life as a minifigure previously, with an Iron Man 3 tie-in set seeing the character in brick form as well as her Rescue suit making it into one of the Endgame sets. This new variant is significantly different from both of those versions, however. Donning the black suit she is wearing early in the movie, this minifigure again feature movie accurate printing on the torso with black suit, white shirt and the standard female outlines. As one would expect, the legs are simple black with no printing. The prize minifigure in the collection is Obadiah Stane and his minifigure debut is simple, yet perfect. Given the sets price-point, you cannot complain with three named characters in the minifigure collection, each a unique variant exclusive to this set. I myself already own three Hulk Busters, the War Machine buster, Igor, and every mech released in the last two years.

The color may be too bright and clean, but it gets the idea across well. The actual suit has arms that end in huge jackhammer-like endings. However, this Minifigure just goes with the yellow pauldrons at the top of regular gray arms. This pauldron piece can be slid onto the neck and sandwiched between the torso and head pieces. The usual vibrant reds are replaced with an extremely dark almost black blue. This gives the gold printing an extra effective pop!
Again, this can be quickly and easily swapped out with the printed face piece included in the 76125 Iron Man Hall of Armor set. The details in the printing are good, and they included plenty of tiny little parts to keep things interesting. At all! The XLII suit has a much more prominent gold coloring, especially on the legs. We actually got a Minifigure that is primarily red with a few gold highlights.
The mask opens to reveal a head piece with printing on both sides.

A harness goes around his neck and hangs on the back of the torso, and you simply assemble and clip the four arms to the harness. It looks neat and even has a blaster effect to add to the action shots. One issue is that the wings have stickers that need to be applied to them instead of the details being printed on. Some people might not mind this, while others will take issue with the stickers. Because the wings need to be assembled, put together, and clipped to the backpack section, this Minifigure has a pretty high piece count, with 38 individual pieces needed to construct him. So special is this Minifigure that we got it in not one but two separate sets! It would have made this Minifigure extra special if they could have printed some tiny infinity stones onto the right hand.
Unfortunately, hand printing is rarely ever seen. It really makes the torso piece pop! Similarly, the metallic silver highlights add some depth and definition and make what could be a messy paint job look busy yet clear. On the other hand, we could also see the addition of battle damage making the figure look far too busy and cluttered. He also comes with a flip-up mask and two blue blast pieces for his feet — pretty standard by now!
